Advanced Kickers Program. Local Travel (U8-U13)
About our local travel programs
(Travel-Lite) Advanced Kickers Program is a raised level of play and commitment, while keeping travel at a minimum outside of Atlantic County/Galloway, NJ and cost reasonably lower. Talented and enthusiastic (boys and girls) soccer players ranging from U8-U13 are encouraged to tryout.
The created environment is individual player centric over team centric. The environment created will emphasize comfort with ball, decision makings discovery (giving the games back to player) and creativity over winning and poor soccer. The program is meant to be fun, low-cost, and competitive. The Program provides experienced professional coaches with USSF and NSCAA certifications and/or parent approved coaches.
The “Advanced Kickers” teams stay together for a full year, allowing players to develop chemistry with one another and allowing coaches the ability to introduce more advanced concepts. In the fall and spring seasons, the teams generally participate in pre-season scrimmages, a ten (10) game regular season (5 home games and 5 away games), and a 2-3 tournaments. SJSL, SJGSL, EDP Futures, EDP are leagues in which teams will participate.
In addition, the teams futsal skill train indoors and compete in local futsal leagues during the winter.
The Program serves as a bridge to our Premier Program for players to matriculate into higher level travel/select soccer. The buzz about the success of our Kickers Program is spreading. Tryouts are held yearly in April/May.
