Atlantic Cape Elite Soccer – Summer Select

Atlantic Cape Elite soccer team brings together the best players from Atlantic and Cape May county to practice and compete together during the Summer season. The goal is to create an elite level team closer to home while preserving the area SJGSL teams.

Since this is not an organized club, players will need to provide a copy of their US Club Soccer player card from their existing SJGSL team to the ACES coaching staff. This is so tournaments can check a player’s age and status. US Club Soccer carded players and coaches will also be covered under the US Club Soccer accident insurance.

Player Requirements:

  • 2011 (U12) or 2012 (U11) birth year
  • Must currently be rostered on an SJGSL team or hold their US Club Soccer Card
  • Must provide a copy of their US Club Soccer player card at tryout
  • $325 team fee to be paid within 7 days of team invite
  • Communication will be done through the GameChanger app

Tryout Details:

Location: Tartaglio Sports Complex in Galloway

Date and Time: March TBD

A panel of trainers will assess and score players on a set of predetermined skills. Each player will participate in various training stations that focus on specific skills like touches, footwork, agility, shooting, passing, field vision, etc. The top 14 scored players will make the team. Players only wanting to play goalie will be scored and assessed differently. Hybrid (field and goalie) players will also be assessed accordingly.

Uniform Kit

  • 2 game jerseys (home and away)
  • 1 pair of shorts
  • 1 pair of socks
